Rainbow Ocean Waves Afghan

It’s been a long time I didn’t share my finished projects – as I just had a 5 weeks nightmare struggling with the website and the server x_x But it’s over now and I will try to catch up on the posts.

Remember that early of this year I went home to Indonesia? I came back with an almost 25kg worth of Indonesian Cotton yarn 😀 It was a lot of yarn until at some point I got to freak out because I didn’t have space to store! x_x

Then, it was just the time when Mickey’s from the Crochet Crowd released an Afghan challenge, Ocean Waves Afghan from the Red Heart free pattern! So, I said to my self that this is a perfect time to use a lot of colors in 1 afghan since I just had 100gr each color.

It was decided!! 17 colors, including the border! The measurement’s 80cmx180cm. In a glance, I managed to reduce my Cotton yarn!! *yay* Here is the beginning when I was trying to see how it looked!

I fell in love immediately with this afghan! I managed to make it in a week because I wanted to see it complete with the simple border.

Tadaaa..!!! That’s the finished Rainbow Ocean Waves Afghan!! It’s OOAK (one of a kind), means I’m not going to use the same colors combination ever again. This is a unique afghan and bought by a unique couple!! 😀

I’m so happy that the new owner loves this afghan so much! Make me smile 😀

What do you think? ^^
