My love of food cannot be replaced with anything else. I grew up in a small village in Indonesia, where we have a vast variety of foods created by mixed cultures and influences.
Throughout its history, Indonesia has been involved in trade due to its location and natural resources. Our indigenous techniques and ingredients were influenced by India, the Middle East, China, and Europe. We had been colonized by the Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese, which later on influencing our cuisines and palates.
