I am invited again to join this year’s Resobox World Amigurumi Exhibition which will be happening at the same place, Resobox, Long Island City, New York from Dec 9, 2016 – Mar 31, 2017. Time is extended from the previous exhibition due to high volume of people visiting the exhibition.
This time, the theme will be quite challenging for me as I will have to use mixed materials to create objects. Since I never have any experience using unusual texture or yarn material, such as eye-lashes yarn, it will be my first option.
I already prepared the design and it was quite a challenge to execute the plan 😀 The design is quite simple, but no experience with eye-lashes yarn almost step on my patience limit 😀 Also, my choice of color, black, just made it a bit worse 😀
Featuring Rin & Maru to represent me in this year exhibition, the two cats which were drawn according to my Karma, my beloved crazy white cat ^^ Maru will represent the black cat that I never have, and which I really want to have, to complete Karma’s color Yin & Yang ^^ Rin will represent the gray cat of the neighbor’s cat. Both of them are mirror image of Karma, long beautiful hair.
I also made this beautiful sooth spirit, I fall in love with this one totally 😀
I’m glad that it turned out very beautiful even the struggle is real 😀
